Photos to DVD
How often do we leave old photos in drawers or dusty photo albums and now with digital photos they often don't get much further than being uploaded to the computer? Our Photos to DVD service allows you to view your photos through a DVD slideshow set to music which makes it an excellent way to view and store your photos and share them with friends.
The Photos to DVD service also makes a wonderful gift for a special occasion, so far we have created DVDs for weddings, special anniversaries, 60th birthdays, and to celebrate a 1st birthday. Please see an example of the type of service we offer below:

What is included in the Photo DVD?
When you order your photo DVD you will be asked to specify certain things that will help us to make your photo DVD absolutely perfect. Having created lots of photo DVDs we know how important the little things can be, such as using a special song as the background music and adding your personal words at the start and end of the DVD. So whether you are ordering the photo DVD to keep yourself or ordering it as a special gift it is a good idea to have a think about what music and words you would like to use. Here is some more information that may help you with your choice:
Music
* On average 15 to 20 photos will play to one track of music, so if for example you have 60 photos you wish to include on your photo DVD we will require 3 to 4 tracks of music (depending on their length). We can alter the length of time each photo is shown on the screen, and include more than one photo on the screen at once, in order to help fit the photos to the tracks you have chosen.
* You can use any music you like as long as you can give us the titles of the songs, and ideally the artists names too. We will purchase the tracks on your behalf via an online music store (e.g. Napster) and the cost of this is included within the price of the photo dvd.
* Try and pick tracks that suit the photographs you are showing or the occassion at which you are showing them for. For example for a special anniversary photo dvd you may choose something like 'Unforgettable' or 'Anniversary Waltz'. Think about what type of music the person you will be giving the DVD to likes and if they have any favourite songs. If you need some help then we are happy to give you some suggestions when you place your order.

* Would you like some wording to appear at the start of the DVD? We can include this for you at no extra cost, simply let us know what you would like us to put on the order form at the time of your order.
* We also need a title for your DVD, this will be lightscribed onto the actual DVD and will be shown in the menu on the DVD.
* It is a nice touch to have rolling credits at the end of the DVD saying who the DVD is from, in the past we have used things like 'Happy Birthday <Name>, With love from ...<Your name(s)>. State what you would like at the end of your DVD on the order form, and if you have any particular preference as to how it is shown (rolling credits, appears on the screen and then fades).
Photos
* Once you have placed your order we will contact you with instructions on how to send your photos to us, this is done electronically by simply uploading your photos.
* If you are sending us any scanned photos please ensure they are scanned at a high resolution (minimum 300 dpi) as this will give us a much clearer photo to work with, and therefore give you the best possible results.
* If you would like your photos played in a particular order please place a number at the start of the photos file name to indicate where it should be placed e.g. 1bobsbirthday.jpg.
* If you would like us to provide deluxe editing to any or all of your DVD photos please state this on the order form, there will be an additional cost for this but we will notify you of the cost once we have assessed the photos and will not carry out any work until you have confirmed you are happy for us to go ahead.

* If you have any short video clips you would like to include on your photo DVD we can add those too as you can see from the DVD example above.
